Jan van Broekhoven

I have just learned of the passing of Jan van Broekhoeven. My wife and I, who worked at the Protestant mission in Bolobo (Congo) from 1971 to 1976 have very fond memories of "Sango Jean" as he was affectionately called there. We enjoyed close fellowship with Jan and will always remember that wonderful mixture of seriousness in his mission and gentle humour in his demeanour.
